A Place for Artists to Meet & Greet
Artists Nastassia Fokina and Yuriy Litvinov came to Provincetown and decided it was the perfect place to launch their non-governmental organization called the Pioneer Foundation. The first project they have undertaken is the Artists’ Village, an effort to make art accessible and easy to understand. That in mind, they have opened the Pioneer Gallery at 385 Commercial St., where they want young artists and art lovers to feel free to express themselves creatively while sharing ideas and learning from artists and professors in a friendly setting. The organizers plan on having exhibitions and artistic events throughout the season when they hope to highlight participants’ works ranging from film to music to drawing and painting.
